It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but First Baptist Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Community School of Naples and snuck past 2-1. The victory was just what First Baptist Academy needed coming off of a 3-0 defeat in their prior match.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Mathew Faris and
Scott Mulhauser, who scored.
First Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-2 record this season. As for Community School of Naples, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4-5.
