Mohawk is a perfect 10-0 against Upper Sandusky since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome the Rams at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mohawk has seven straight wins, Upper Sandusky has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Mohawk is returning to their home court after beating Buckeye Central on theirs, despite the fact Buckeye Central has dominated at home this season. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bucks on Tuesday.
Mohawk had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Mohawk relied on the efforts of Cara Peterson, who had 11 digs, and Emerson Gurney, who had 24 digs and four aces. Gurney is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 16 games she's played. Emily Brickner also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Mohawk was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Upper Sandusky came up short against Seneca East on Tuesday and fell 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 20-25, 25-23.
Mohawk's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Upper Sandusky, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.
Everything went Mohawk's way against Upper Sandusky in their previous matchup back in September, as Mohawk made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
