The Life Center Academy Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 75-45 blowout they got at home against Lawrenceville School. The win made it back-to-back wins for Life Center Academy.
Life Center Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mekhi Robertson out in front who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The contest was Robertson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Brown, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Life Center Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Lawrenceville School, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Life Center Academy and Varsity Opponent will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Varsity Opponent is hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses. As for Lawrenceville School, they will head out on the road to face off against Pennington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Lawrenceville School likes a good challenge.
