The Choctawhatchee Indians will venture away from home to  take on the Crestview Bulldogs  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Choctawhatchee and six for Crestview.
Things were looking good for Choctawhatchee after they put the first  run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against  Niceville, falling  11-1.

Jay hit Crestview with a six-run fifth inning  on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost  12-5 to the Royals.
 Crestview saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Julian Forrest, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another  was  Moriah Keith, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Choctawhatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Crestview, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-16.
