Cumberland will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Triton at 6:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Cumberland lost to Pennsauken last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-38. Cumberland were down by 0-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Triton took a serious blow against Burlington Township, falling 8-45. Triton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-30.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
