Trinity Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rising Sun Shiners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Trinity Lutheran of the  3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in August of 2024.
Their goal came courtesy  of  Rusty Harris, who's now up to six this season.
Trinity Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rising Sun, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Coming up, Trinity Lutheran will head out on the road to  square off against  Austin  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Rising Sun, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  1-1  draw against Lawrenceburg on the 25th.
