Thomas Dale has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Syvannah Dawson, who shot 5-for-8 from long range and almost dropped a triple-double on 31 points, nine assists, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Nylah Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Thomas Dale's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.8 points per game. As for Deep Run, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
Thomas Dale will be playing at home against John Marshall at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. John Marshall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Thomas Dale is ranked first). As for Deep Run, they will head out on the road to take on Glen Allen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
