The Nutley Maroon Raiders had a rough go of it last month when they matched up with the Orange Tornadoes and had to endure more of the same on Thursday. Nutley was dealt a punishing 67-31 loss at the hands of Orange.
Nutley's overall record fell to 3-13. The win bumped Orange's record up to 11-9.
The Maroon Raiders will take on Livingston on Tuesday. Nutley is at home for the matchup, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Orange, they will go up against Irvington on Friday. Like Orange, Irvington is also coming into the game bolstered by a recent victory.
