Chester had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Clinton Red Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-4 last Tuesday.

Chester pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Clinton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.

Chester will be playing at home against Mid-Carolina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will venture away from home to take on Abbeville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Clinton will need to watch out since Abbeville has now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
