The Cornerstone Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to  square off against  the Temecula Prep Patriots at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 On Thursday, Cornerstone Christian made easy work of Calvary Baptist  and carried off  a  19-6 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Cornerstone Christian.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tamara Ocampo, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.  Amelia Michel was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Temecula Prep got themselves on the board against Desert Christian Academy on Tuesday, but Desert Christian Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Conquerors 14-0.
  Helena Scola made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Scola was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing six bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Kori Dawson was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tochi Christopher, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
 Cornerstone Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Temecula Prep, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 13-12.
Temecula Prep's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Cornerstone Christian has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 10.1  hits per game. It's a different story for Temecula Prep, though, as  they've been averaging 9.4. Given Cornerstone Christian's sizable advantage in that area, Temecula Prep will need to find a way to close that gap.
 Cornerstone Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Temecula Prep  in their previous matchup  on April 9th, sneaking past  13-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cornerstone Christian since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
