Leading Norwich Free Academy to victory were Emily Orcutt and Jordyn Bay-kent. Orcutt scored 12 points along with eight rebounds, while Bay-kent scored 12 points along with five steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Petra Berry, who scored six points along with two steals.
Griswold bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.8 points per game. As for Norwich Free Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Griswold will take on Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Putnam is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will be playing at home against Killingly at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
