Gloucester has had a week off and is no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Danvers in each of the teams' third playoff game on Thursday. Gloucester needs to shore up a defense that is allowing 37.9 points per contest.
The Fishermen have to be aching after a bruising 30-6 defeat to Saugus two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Danvers probably have a sour taste in their mouth after their recent playoff matchup against Concord-Carlisle. Danvers took a 32-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Concord-Carlisle.
Gloucester ended up a good deal behind Danvers when they played when the two teams last met in last November, losing 20 to nothing. Maybe the Fishermen will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
