Coleman Burbidge posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Burbidge's strong effort led Woods Cross over Box Elder and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
