After having lost a blowout in their previous game against White River Valley, South Knox was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wood Memorial Trojans, sneaking past 2-1. South Knox haven't had any issues with Wood Memorial recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Cala Charleston and Kadee Jeffris scored both of South Knox's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

South Knox's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Wood Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

South Knox wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Boonville on the 27th. As for Wood Memorial, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Washington Catholic at 7:30 p.m.
