The Washington Huskies will head out to take on the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Washington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Clayton Valley Charter.
Washington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 26-28, 25-15, 25-22, 17-15.

Washington relied on the efforts of Kevin Hsieh, who hit 100% for six kills and 14 digs, four aces, and two blocks, and Ethan White, who had 23 digs, 19 kills, three aces, and one block. Hsieh is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 17 or more in each of the last six games he's played.
They weren't the only good server: Washington was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph Notre Dame got the win against Redwood Christian on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pilots.
Washington now has a winning record of 11-10. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, their record now sits at 16-11.
Washington was able to grind out a solid win over St. Joseph Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
