Lockhart suffered their biggest defeat since December 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-42 walloping at the hands of Cedar Park. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lockhart in their matchups with Cedar Park: they've now lost eight in a row.
Rouse is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Lockhart, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-17.
Everything came up roses for Rouse against Lockhart in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 84-27 win. With Rouse ahead 42-22 at the half, the game was all but over already.
