Herbert Hoover won the last time they faced Nitro and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Herbert Hoover was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13.

Herbert Hoover got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lilli Lancaster out in front who had 11 assists and four digs. What's more, Lancaster posted two kills, the most she's had over her last five games. Braelyn Adkins was another key player, getting 13 digs and three assists.

Herbert Hoover's win bumped their record up to 19-3-1. As for Nitro, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coincidentally, Herbert Hoover and Nitro will both be playing Ripley the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
