Everything went Segerstrom's way against Godinez last Thursday as they made off with a 36-6 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Segerstrom had established a 28-0 advantage.
Meanwhile, El Modena took care of business in their home opener. They captured a comfortable 50-31 victory over Woodbridge.
Their wins bumped Segerstrom to 1-0 and El Modena to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
