The Mundy's Mill Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 61-9 win over Forest Park on the road. That looming 61-9 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mundy's Mill yet this season.
It was another big night for Joshlynn Mcclarin, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Amera Steadmon, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten steals.
The win (which was Mundy's Mill's third in a row) raised their record to 9-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38 points. As for Forest Park, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Mundy's Mill won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Douglass at 3:00 p.m. on January 6th. Douglass is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Forest Park, they will take on Mundy's Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mundy's Mill is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Forest Park in Georgia (Mundy's Mill is ranked 215th, while Forest Park is ranked 483rd).
