On Friday, the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets's game was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 46-29 win over Palmer. Winning may never get old, but Heartland Lutheran sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Brielle Saddler was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Taylor Lemburg, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Heartland Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Palmer, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Heartland Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Hopefully Fullerton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Friday. As for Palmer, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wildcats on Tuesday.
