The biggest upset of the week belonged to Old Town, who took down 39th ranked Morse, 36-28.
Hampden's Logan Steward rumbled for the longest rushing play in B Pine Tree this season in his game against Camden Hills last week. Steward scampered for 75 yards on the play and finished with 183 on the day as his team defeated the Windjammers.
Mt. Blue's dynamic duo of Jodran Whitney and Cam Abbott proved tough for Leavitt to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Whitney threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns and Abbott had 79 yards receiving. Nick Hyde helped Mt. Blue's passing attack out by catching one ball for 58 yards.
The Cougars' Whitney and Abbott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Whitney has thrown for 986 yards this season, while Abbott, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 27 catches for 438 yards. Steward from Hampden leads the league in rushing with 693 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Mt. Blue takes on second place Leavitt. Last week, Mt. Blue beat the Hornets, while the Hornets fell to Mt. Blue.
The Coyotes were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 14th to 12th in B Pine Tree. Earlier in the week, Old Town defeated the Shipbuilders 36-28.
