Millsap is 7-1 against Dublin since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Last Tuesday, Millsap lost to Eastland at home by a decisive 64-48 margin. While losing is never fun, Millsap can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while Eastland is ranked 164th).
The losing side was boosted by Claire Dale, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Berkli Sims, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Dublin's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Early.
This is the second loss in a row for Millsap and nudges their season record down to 13-15. As for Dublin, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Millsap against Dublin in their previous matchup on January 2nd as the team secured a 64-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Millsap since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
