With a playoff game on the line, the Port St. Lucie Jaguars rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the Scorpions by a score of 64-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Port St. Lucie was led to victory by Makhari Chambliss and Ryan Rodriguez. Chambliss scored 20 points, while Rodriguez scored 29 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Chambliss is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. Javien Sapienza was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals and two blocks.
The victory makes it two in a row for Port St. Lucie and bumps their season record up to 20-7. As for Satellite, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.
Port St. Lucie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Satellite also has no future games currently scheduled.
