Monadnock has gone a perfect 4-0 against Kearsarge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Huskies will look to defend their home field against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Monadnock has four straight wins, Kearsarge has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Monadnock and Stevens, and Monadnock kept the tradition alive. The Huskies walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Cardinals on Monday.

Stevens' batters probably weren't too happy with Ari Drouin, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (she gave up a single walk). Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Drouin.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Shaylee Branon, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI. Cainen Avery was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Kearsarge came up short against Raymond on Monday and fell 10-7.
Emma Dubaere 2027 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those runs were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Naimah Wilson 2027, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Kearsarge's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Monadnock, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Kearsarge's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Monadnock has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Kearsarge, though, as they've only averaged .328. Will they be able to contain Monadnock's hitters?
Everything went Monadnock's way against Kearsarge in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Monadnock made off with a 25-1 victory. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
