Make it seven blowout wins for the Milton-Union Bulldogs this season. They breezed by Dayton Christian at home to the tune of 56-20. That 36 points margin sets a new team best for Milton-Union this season.
Leading Milton-Union to victory were Jenna Brumbaugh and Shannon Brumbaugh. Brumbaugh scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Brumbaugh scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Brumbaugh scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Layman, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Milton-Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Dayton Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-7.
Milton-Union will square off against Covington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Covington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Dayton Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Legacy Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Saturday.
