The La Salette Academy Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Urbana University for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-32 win on the road. Considering La Salette Academy has won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading La Salette Academy to victory were Eamon Martin and Charles Prather. Martin scored 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Prather scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Prather also posted two blocks for the first time this season. William Fitspatrick was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and four steals.
La Salette Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Urbana University, they bumped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
La Salette Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. As for Urbana University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hoopeston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
