Asher Kenkelen made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Kyler Buckwalter was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Brady Grau also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
