California School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Indiana School for the Deaf and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Deaf Hoosiers with a sharp 13-3 win. Considering the Eagles have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Julianna Hammons was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three runs.

In other batting news, Timaree Serrano was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for California School for the Deaf and bumps their season record up to 16-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

California School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 25-0 victory against Texas School for the Deaf on the 26th. Indiana School for the Deaf has also already played their next game (against California School for the Deaf-Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
