Corbin Kyes' Big Game Leads Central City over Broken Bow
Corbin Kyes's big game helped extend Central City's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Kyes as he rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 146 rushing yards.
Central City's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Kyes and Central City will host Aurora on Friday.

Sadly, Austin Imler posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Adams Central over Lincoln Christian on Friday. Imler wasn't messing around, making 22 total tackles. The matchup was his fifth straight with seven or more total tackles.
For the season, Imler has averaged 10.1 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging two total tackles per game.
