Baseball Recap: H-L-V Comes Up Short

H-L-V was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the Belle Plaine Plainsmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 12-11 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

H-L-V's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Belle Plaine, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. H-L-V will challenge rival Colfax-Mingo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Belle Plaine is set to take on their familiar foe Keota at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
