The Lee Williams Volunteers will head out on the road to square off against the Seton Catholic Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lee Williams is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lee Williams walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Titans on Friday.
Lee Williams was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Allison Wilcox and
Sophia Fottrell, who scored all three of Lee Williams' goals. The pair have combined for a total of 36 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic kept a clean sheet against Mesquite last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Wildcats. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Seton Catholic considering their one-goal performance the game before.
Lee Williams' win bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for Seton Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5-3 record this season.
Lee Williams skirted past Seton Catholic 1-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2021. Will Lee Williams repeat their success, or does Seton Catholic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
