University School put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat the Shaker Heights Red Raiders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-1. That's more bragging rights for the Preppers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Aaron Moss made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Moss was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.
In other batting news, Jack Nelson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Cayden Zelenak also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
