In other batting news, Bianca Czarnecki was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Sarah Bronowski was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Name, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.
