Meanwhile, Bartlett Yancey's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Southeast Alamance on the road and fell 56-27. Bartlett Yancey was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-16.
Graham has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Bartlett Yancey, they bumped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Graham was taken down by Bartlett Yancey 46-19 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bartlett Yancey's Jazmyne Henderson, who scored 25 points along with six steals.
