If Apopka Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bridge to Independence, they should've done a better job of containing Jaydan Jeantinord. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 68-29 win over the Lions thanks in part to Jeantinord, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 12 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Bridge to Independence's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Bridge to Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 loss against Altamonte Christian on the 4th. Hopefully Apopka Christian Academy paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
