Donelson Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-14 win. With the Wildcats ahead 35-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Tipton-Rosemark Academy still got an impressive performance from Nix Fullen, who rushed for 165 yards and one TD, and also picked up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown. Fullen got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 77 yards.

Donelson Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 31-6 defeat against Jackson Christian on the 29th. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-32 victory against Halls on the 29th.
