Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood sitting on three straight victories and Montini Catholic on 19 (dating back to last season).
Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 40) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Prosser, sneaking past 22-20.

Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Williams out in front who threw for 200 yards and two TDs on only 15 passes. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in passer rating (143.8). Jeremiah Raddle helped Williams out on the ground, picking up 55 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 38 yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kaleb Hayden and DeJuanye Walton, who racked up all four sacks between them. Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood received some extra help from Caleb Harris, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Montini Catholic owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past St. Laurence 23-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Broncos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Vikings are ranked 55th).
Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood better focus on containing Israel Abrams and Isaac Alexander as the pair were huge in Montini Catholic's win. Abrams threw for 289 yards and one touchdown, while Alexander rushed for 63 yards and a pair of TDs. 94 of Abrams' passing yards were hauled in by Johnny Neustadt.
The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Montini Catholic, their record now sits at 9-0.
