After constant struggles on the road, Chicopee Comp have finally found some success away from home. They took their matchup against Agawam last Friday by a conclusive 40-14 score. That looming 26-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Chicopee Comp yet.
Meanwhile, we expected Holyoke to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Westfield, and they did. Holyoke found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-40 punch to the gut against Westfield. Holyoke were down by 7-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Chicopee Comp's victory lifted them to 3-4 while Holyoke's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll find out if Chicopee Comp can add another positive mark to their record or if Holyoke can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Chicopee Comp's step.
