River Valley kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Evansville Blue Devils, falling 29-6. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.
Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kaden Plumley, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Coming up, River Valley will host Wisconsin Dells at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Evansville, they will venture away from home to face off against Brodhead/Juda at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
