The Derby Panthers will play host again  in Tuesday's  first game to welcome the Haysville Campus Colts, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:00  p.m. Derby is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
 In Friday's  second game, Derby sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  victory over Eisenhower.
  Hudson Halstead made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Halstead was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Halstead wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Rowan Foster, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Foster is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played.
 Meanwhile, Haysville Campus suffered a  tough 19-3 defeat at the hands of Hutchinson  on Friday.
 Derby's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Haysville Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
 Derby skirted past Haysville Campus  6-4 in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Will Derby repeat their success,  or does  Haysville Campus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
