If Lewiston-Altura wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cotter, they should've done a better job of containing Sydney Repinski. The Ramblers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Repinski, who had 26 digs and seven assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Cotter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 20-25, 25-13.

Cotter's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Lewiston-Altura, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cotter is set to square off against their familiar foe Dover-Eyota at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lewiston-Altura will challenge rival Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
