The Fullerton Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They secured a 40-36 W over Twin River. The victory was familiar territory for Fullerton who now have three in a row.
Paige Horn was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Horn is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Georgia Bridger was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds.
Fullerton's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Twin River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Fullerton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. St. Francis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fullerton in Nebraska (St. Francis is ranked 73rd, while Fullerton is ranked 218th). As for Twin River, they will head out on the road to face off against Neligh-Oakdale on Tuesday. Hopefully Neligh-Oakdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
