They breezed by Taylor at home to the tune of 46-7. That looming 46-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Redeemer Christian yet this season.
Redeemer Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Selena Martin, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Martin has scored at least 25% of Redeemer Christian's points. Cami Satterfield was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Redeemer Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Taylor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing First Academy the next time they take the court. Taylor will head out to face First Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while Redeemer Christian will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
