Conner Eyink posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Eyink and Mechanicsburg will stay at home for another game and welcome Fairfield Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights will enter the matchup having just beaten Cardington-Lincoln, so the Indians will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
