After two games on the road, Wartburg Central is heading back home. They will take on the Jellico Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Wartburg Central suffered a rough 61-41 defeat at the hands of the Tigers.
Meanwhile, even though Oliver Springs scored an imposing 71 points on Tuesday, Jellico still came out on top. Jellico strolled past the Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 88-71.
It was another big night for Isaac Mcnealy, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Carson Bolton, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Wartburg Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Jellico, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.
Wartburg Central was dealt a bruising 77-36 defeat at the hands of the Blue Devils when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mcnealy, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Now that Wartburg Central knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
