Baseball Recap: Good Hope Has No Trouble Against Hanceville

Good Hope never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 9-0 margin over the Hanceville Bulldogs. Considering the Raiders have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Case Naramore was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Good Hope is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Naramore was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1. He also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Parker Johnson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Nash Landon was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Good Hope's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3. As for Hanceville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Good Hope has already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Danville on the 17th. Hanceville has also already played their next contest (against Vinemont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
