The Eaton Reds lost 32-7 to the Pueblo Central Wildcats on Saturday.
Andrew Loyd threw for 110 yards on ten of 17 attempts.
Max Blaskowski was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground,
Liam Whalen rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Pueblo Central can attribute much of their success to Genaro Pino, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 120 yards while completing 77.8% of his passes. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards.
Eaton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Pueblo Central, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
