The DuSable Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Harlan Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. DuSable will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
DuSable has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Air Force Academy on Friday as DuSable made off with a 32-7 victory.
Jayniha Jones was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that she grabbed two or more steals. Damaya Plant was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Harlan scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They snuck past Corliss with a 27-21 win. After a 83-38 finish the last time they played, Harlan and Corliss decided to play a little more cautiously this time around.
DuSable's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Harlan, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
