It was a classic North v. South duel when Northwest faced off against South on Thursday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 23-2 margin over the Titans. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won eight matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Northwest, bringing their record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for South, they are on a 30-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-22.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will take on Goddard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Haysville Campus.
