The Anderson Prep Academy Jets suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a tough 67-41 loss at the hands of Tri-Central. Anderson Prep Academy has not had much luck with Tri-Central recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Anderson Prep Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lincoln Fathauer, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayden Finley, who scored eight points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stetson Newcom, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Drake Ramseyer was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with three steals.
Anderson Prep Academy bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tri-Central, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson Prep Academy will take on Smith Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Central, Tri-Central and Carroll will face off at 8:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Carroll is ranked 230th, while Tri-Central is ranked 228th).
